Now I’m usually not one for posting anything like this, but since I am writing I want to take a moment to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11. Can’t believe it has been eleven years since then. Thank you to all those who fight for our country and risk their lives every day for our safety and freedom.

I know I’ve been a bit MIA this week and I apologize. We had a death in the family so I have been spending a lot of time with family at home in CLE. Starting with this post I’m hoping to get back on the right track with a post a day. Thanks for everyone who has shown support and kept reading every post!
I didn’t bring home many options for shoes, nor did I bring much in the way of fall apparel. It definitely cooled a bit in CLE while I was there, so I had to make the best use out of the one pair of pants I brought.
I have obviously been getting some good use out of my chambray shirt. It goes with so much and you can wear it so many different ways. (Nordstrom – Rubbish here for $49) To see some different ways to wear a chambray shirt, check out my posts here and here. If you’ve recently bought a chambray shirt and having a hard time to find new ways to wear it, check out this Ultimate Guide to Wearing a Chambray Shirt by Confessions of a Product Junkie. This is a great guide and shows just about every way you can pair a chambray to get the cutest outfits!
These pink skinnies are great when worn casual or for work. I especially love them with my blush flats because the colors look so great together. (Gap – here for $59.99) For another way to dress up these cute skinnies for a casual work day see my post here.
Nail Polish: L’oreal Color Riche – Breaking Curfew here for $5.99. As I mentioned in my previous post, this is very similar to OPI’s Lincoln Park After Dark which I love. You can get this L’oreal for only $3.99 at Target with this $1 off coupon.
I am in love with these flats, they are so comfy and give a cute feminine flair to any outfit. Obviously since I wore them in my other weekend post you can tell I like them. (Kohl’s – LC Lauren Conrad here for $38.95) I also only packed three pairs of shoes, two of which being 4-inch heels so these were definitely my best option most of the time.
As I mentioned in my post on Saturday, this neon belt is from a skirt I have, but here is a similar belt from Target) I paired it with this outfit to wear the chambray shirt in a new and fun way. I absolutely love the bright pop color over the muted blue.
Pearls always add a feminine touch to an outfit. I paired this gold drop pearl necklace to keep with the femininity of the pink pants and flats against the masculine feel of the shirt. I also wore my pearl earrings to match the necklace, which was my grandmother’s.
Hope everyone has a great day and also gives a moment to remember. Thanks for reading!
