66. How to: Crazy Fun Holiday Nails

As we get closer to the holiday season, it’s time for all things festive. Including the best part, your nails.

Victoria's a Shoe a Day: DIY Crazy Fun Holiday NailsI’ve had a few looks on my posts so far, but this is one of my favorites.

Victoria's a Shoe a Day: Sinful Colors Sugar Sugar

First take your favorite red nail polish and apply two-three coats. I used Sinful Color’s Sugar Sugar, here or at your local drugstore.

Victoria's a Shoe a Day: China Glaze Silver - DIY Holiday Nails

When painting my nails red, I skipped each ring finger to paint it an accent silver. (China Glaze Platinum Silver here for $4.49) Then go over all solid nails with a top coat, BEFORE beginning your polka dots otherwise they’ll smear.

Victoria's a Shoe a Day: DIY NailsAfter the red has had a few minutes to dry, take a toothpick and dip it in to your silver nail polish. This is what you will use for the polka dots. Easy enough, right?

Now these may be a little bit too crazy for the every day, but they are super fun for that holiday party you’ve got coming up. These are really fun because there are so many different variations you can do with the colors and polka dots.
