Today was my race with Team Imerman Angels at the Shamrock Shuffle! It was my first 8k and I finished way better than I thought I would with a time of 45:09 and 10,972 out of 33,219 runners. Can’t wait for my next run with the team! It was super fun and insanely packed, obviously.
Tyler came to Chicago to run the race with me. The weather was incredible and there was nothing more amazing than running through the streets of downtown with people cheering on the sideline. After we completed the race, Mariano’s provided some great post race fuel to the runners which was super nice. All the volunteers were amazing, especially our Imerman Angels volunteers running the beer tents! Thank you to everyone who came out today.
After the Shamrock Shuffle was over we enjoyed the Imerman Angels Post Race party at The Grid on Hubbard. Mom came in to town to volunteer at the beer tent during the race while Tyler and I ran. It was super fun, but we were definitely exhausted by the post race party.

I’ve never been to The Grid, but it was a super cool location and all the employees were so friendly and helpful in setting up for the event. Thanks for putting on a great party for us!
