112. Take me Out: Imerman Angels Blue & White Party

Imerman Angels Blue & White PartyAs you know last night was our Imerman Angels spring event, which went amazingly! Couldn’t have asked for a better venue, thanks John Barleycorn.

Imerman AngelsThe decorations were so super fun, a pain in the butt to put together, but totally worth it.

IMG_4304We had a promotions table where we sold Imerman Angels tees all night, if you didn’t get yours you can buy them here. John Barleycorn was awesome with their set up and put our presentation with pictures and information about Imerman Angels on screens throughout the whole room.

Imerman Angels - Blue & White partySeeing Jonny speak is always so inspiring and it was so great to see this huge audience captivated by his story. During Jonny’s speech he revealed our to date match number to be 8,050 one on one cancer support connections since inception in 2006. This is just absolutely incredible! We also had two men who were connected by Imerman Angels tell their story which was really great to hear.

Imerman Angels wingsAt the event we also had angel memory wings for everyone who has been affected by cancer, so greatly crafted by our P-board member Allison!

Imerman Angels memory wingsI dedicated my memories to some absolutely amazing people; Rick who passed last year and was like a part of our family; my grandmother, Ursula; and a truly inspiring fighter, (currently with clean scans!) Matt. Love you all.

Imerman AngelsThanks to my awesome ladies who came out to support me! I’m so happy you guys were able to make it, including Lindsy and Kath who I couldn’t get a picture with.

Imerman Angels Professional's BoardThank you to everyone who made it out last night. It was such a great turn out! To everyone on the professional’s board who helped put the event together and all our volunteers, thank you! This couldn’t have been a better event and I’m so happy to be part of this organization.

On another note:

Victoria's a Shoe a Day: denim on denimAfter an exhausting and exciting night, the only thing to sport is denim on denim.

Victoria's a Shoe a Day: denim on denThe key with a denim on denim look is to make sure that your denims are contrasting. I like my look with a light top and dark wash jeans. (Jeans: Macy’s – American Rag; Boots: Steve Madden)

Victoria's a Shoe a Day: chambray & bright printsAnother thing I really like is breaking up all the blue with a bright pop of color. I threw on this super fun pink scarf. (Scarf: Kmart; Chambray shirt: Nordstrom – Rubbish)

Thanks for reading everyone! I hope you’ll consider coming to our next Imerman Angels event.

XO Victoria
